At Anthem Flags, we provide flag cleaning and repair services to our customers. It is suggested and more cost-effective to repair only flags 6 x 10 and larger. Although, smaller flags can be cleaned as part of our service.

Anthem Flags works with a vendor that has been providing these services for decades who is experienced, knowledgeable, and reliable. The entire process from drop-off to delivery takes a total of three weeks, so we recommend having a back-up flag for flying during the repair/cleaning time. If you wish to use these services, Anthem Flags will provide you with a back-up flag for you to fly at a discounted price. This secondary flag is then yours to keep on hand for emergencies.

Although all our vendor partners use only the highest quality of materials and workmanship in the industry, it is important to remember that flags are exposed to the harsh season elements as they serve their purpose. It is important to inspect and treat your flags proactively in order to reduce flag failure. Mold, mildew, fraying, tears, and shrinkage can all be reduced and even eliminated in some cases... increasing the life-span and overall cost for replacement.

Keep in Mind...

High wind velocity... at the top of your flagpole versus the ground is much more intense. A strong wind and rain combination can actually beat the flag against the pole so hard that some of the dyes can begin to migrate.
Acid rain, pollution, and strong sunshine over time can cause fading, combine this with rains, heat, and humidity and there is plenty of room for mold and mildew growth.
The corners of your flag "Fly End" will usually be the first place on a flag to show wear and "tear". these areas can be trimmed and rehemmed... It is paramount that only a trained professional make these alterations and when done properly it is absolutely proper treatment of a flag.
